Planting for a greener future
STUDENTS at Warrnambool West Primary School were eager to get their hands dirty last week.
Tarell Chatfield and Tuurann Clarke enjoy time in the new garden beds.
Children from foundation through to year four spent some time on Friday preparing and planting trees, shrubs and small plants in the school gardens.
The sunny weather made for perfect conditions to be outdoors as part of ‘Schools Tree Day.’
The school was grateful for the support of Pearsons Nursery in Allansford who generously donated the plants.
