Plaza turns all shades of yellow
VISITORS to Gateway Plaza were greeted with splashes of yellow throughout the centre last Thursday morning.

As part of the centre’s Daffodil Day celebrations, visitors were invited to purchase daffodils or muffins by a simple gold coin donation.
Adding to the fun, they could also try their luck on a special spinning wheel, with prizes given away throughout the morning to anyone lucky enough to land on the star.

“Daffodil Day is a wonderful way to raise funds and awareness for cancer research and support services,” centre manager Sarah Porter said.
“The annual event encourages community participation through various activities, including purchasing daffodils and participating in fundraising events.
“We are extremely grateful to all our tenants who added to the atmosphere of the day by dressing in yellow and joining in on the fun, along with those who generously donated, tried their luck on the wheel and purchased muffins and daffodils.”
Next month the plaza will participate in Liptember, helping to raise awareness and support for women’s mental health.
