In division one, Mad Mac’s defeated Mixed Nuts 8-4 while in division two, The Vikings defeated City Slickers 8-3.

The night saw David Buck throw a 19 dart game while both Michael Brittain and Erich Wagner threw 20 dart games.

Despite their loss this week, the City Slickers’ mother and son duo, Julie Newell and son Steve, continue to enjoy playing doubles together.

“Steve was just three years old when I started playing darts,” Julie said.

“I played darts with my father when teams played at The Grand Hotel, Lady Bay, the Tatts Hotel (where McDonald’s Central now is) and even at the pub in Dennington.

“I love being able to play darts now with my son as my doubles partner.”
