Premier releases race calendar
PREMIER Speedway has this week released its 2026/27 race calendar.
According to new general manager, Rikki Stewart, the first race meeting of the season will take place on Saturday, October 31 with Sprintcars and wingless sprints to take to the track.
This will be followed by 360LS Sprintcars, Formula 500s and Junior Formula 500s on November 14.
The 2026 calendar will conclude with Max’s Race for Sprintcars on Saturday, December 12 – with Super Sedans and Late Models set to be the support classes on the night.
The 2027 year is set to get off to a flier with Sprintcars, Speedcars and the traditional New Year’s Day fireworks display on January 1.
The remaining season 2026/27 calendar looks as follows:
Sunday, January 10 – Wingless Sprints (Summer Slam), Speedcars, Super Sedans and Street Stocks;
Sunday, January 17 – Sprintcars (International Cup) and Junior Formula 500s.
January 22-24 – 54th Flying Horse Grand Annual Sprintcar Classic, and Super Rods.
Sunday, February 7 – Wild West Wingless 1000 (plus ESSS Sports Sedan series and V8 Dirt Modifieds);
Friday, February 19 – 360LS Shipwreck Shootout (plus Super Sedan Showdown night one and Junior Sedans Neville Pike Cup).
Saturday, February 20 – Sprintcars (Battle of the Bool) plus Super Sedan Showdown night two and 360LS Sprintcars.
Friday, March 12 – Retro Night (Victorian Sprintcar Title) plus 360LS Sprintcars, Junior Formula 500s and Vintage Sprintcars.
Sunday, March 28 – Easter Sprintcar Trail (plus Super Rod Cup and fireworks).
