President scores hole-in-one

EAST Framlingham Golf Club president Ayden Bosse had the perfect shot last weekend, scoring a hole-in-one on the 16th.

The Kavanagh trophy (stableford) event saw Ben Nevill finish on 36 points to take out A grade from Bernie Harris 35 and Ross McLeod in third on 35.

They were followed by Leigh Chilton 35 and Trevor Blackley 34.

B grade was won by Rodney Mapleson on 42 points, followed by Glenn Tracey 30, Trevor Williams 38, Kevin Bourke 38 and Neil McDonald 36.

The ladies’ winner was Jenny Mapleson on 39 points, followed by Joanne Arundell second on 39 and Julie Kenna third on 37.

Nearest the pins: 3rd Kevin Bourke, 6th and 9th Bernie Harris, 7th and 16th Auden Bosse.

The social winner was Justin Fedley while Rodney Mapleson was the Kavanagh Trophy winner.

This Saturday will be the monthly medal (stroke).
