Repair cafe open Saturday
NEED something repaired, replaced, fixed or mended?
Volunteers will once again be on hand tomorrow (Saturday) at the Port Fairy Repair Café to fix all those little jobs that many find either difficult or challenging.
The repair café is open on the third Saturday of each month between 10am and 12noon and while it is a free, volunteer-run community event, donations are always most welcome. Volunteer ‘fixers’ will be on hand to repair wonky wheels, screeching brakes, punctures on bikes; minor clothing repairs such as taking up hems on dresses and pants or mending holes; mechanic repairs (mowers, sprinklers), IT problems (mobile phones, computer issues), jewellery repairs (broken clasps, shorten chains), knife sharpening and general household item repairs and more.
