Roosters dominate Open netball
A FOURTEEN goal victory over Cobden last weekend saw South Warrnambool continue its domination of the Hampden League Open netball ladder.

The Roosters remain unbeaten and a game clear of their nearest rivals, Koroit, in second place.
Port Fairy, Warrnambool and Cobden round out the top five – with only percentage separating the Bombers from the fast improving Terang Mortlake Bloods.
Last weekend’s round 10 matches saw the Roosters defeat Cobden 54-40 at Friendlies Society Park.
Darcy McFarlane, Isabella Rea and Meg Carlin were best for the victors, with both McFarlane and Carlin shooting 25 goals each, with team-mate Emma Buwalda adding four.
The biggest winning margin of the round went to Koroit, defeating Hamilton Kangaroos at Melville Oval by 40 goals, 83-43.
Rebecca Hicks, Emily Kermeen and Layla Monk were best for the Saints, with Hicks top scoring with an impressive 79 goals.
In an interesting round 11 draw this weekend, the Roosters will take on the Blues at Reid Oval, while Cobden will meet Port Fairy.
In the division one netball competition, South Warrnambool also holds top spot on the ladder in this grade, unbeaten and a game clear of Port Fairy – followed by Koroit, North Warrnambool and Cobden.
