Roosters show plenty of spirit

SOUTH Warrnambool’s All Abilities football side showed plenty of spirit and enthusiasm during last weekend’s grand final match.

The Roosters travelled to Horsham City Oval last Sunday for the big event.

Having finished the home and away season second on the ladder, with four wins and two losses under their belts, the side was keen to take on ladder leaders, the undefeated Grampians Giants.

The Roosters were coming off a huge 44-point win over the Wimmera Whippets on July 19 and were eager to put their skills to the test.

Despite being down by 62 points at three-quarter time, the players never lost their enthusiasm.

Final scores on the siren were Grampian Giants 13.11.89 to South Warrnambool 1.5.11.
