Round two action at the Wolf Den

ACTION returned to the Wolf Den in Warrnambool last weekend for round two of the Football South West regional competition.

Ten matches were played at the Den (Harris Street Reserve), which saw the first home game played by many of the club’s new players and officials.

This weekend sees Female Football Week celebrations with ‘Ladies Night under Lights’ from 5pm on Saturday (May 9).

An under 13 girls’ exhibition match will be followed by the senior women’s game between the Warrnambool Wolves and Port Fairy Plovers from 6pm.

A donation of $1 from every ‘Wolf Brew’ hot drink sold this weekend will be given to the South West Healthcare breast tumour locator system appeal.
