Season launch
PREMIER Speedway will launch its 2025/26 race season with a special day on the Civic Green this weekend.
Tomorrow (Saturday) will see crowds head to the green for a free, fun day of activities and giveaways from 10am until 1pm.
It is anticipated that 20 race cars will be on display, along with free face painting for the kids, free sausage sizzle, icy poles, milk and fruit juice.
Children are encouraged to enter the colouring competition for the chance to win a bike, while free children’s tickets to the November 1 season opener will also be available throughout the day.
Local legend Matt Monk will be a guest host and some of the best moments from last season will be replayed on the big screen.
This is a great opportunity for race fans of all ages to have their photo taken with their favourite racecar and talk with drivers.
