Skin check van visits Koroit
MORE than 130 people visited the Lions skin check and awareness unit when the truck called in to Koroit late last month.

Organised by members of the Koroit Lions Club, this was the third time the unit had visited the town – and according to club secretary Sue Frost, the weekend was a huge success.
“We had 133 people visit the unit over the two days on June 27 and 28 which was wonderful,” she said.

“Not only did we have locals visiting, but some from as far as Port Fairy, Yambuk and even Warrnambool.
“The free checks are carried out by an experienced dermoscopist and if anything concerning is uncovered during the check the person is encouraged to visit their GP for further investigation.”
