The annual exhibit, organised by members of the Warrnambool Model Railway Club, once again attracted large crowds to the event – all eager to browse the 22 layouts across the hall.

According to club president, Luke Van Rijthoven, the event was once again a popular one.

“We have been running this annually for the last 10 years at this venue (St Joseph’s Primary) and before that in the Archie Graham Centre,” Mr Van Rijthoven said.

“It’s always a lot of fun and we as a club are very proud of our exhibits.

“The Warrnambool club started in 1980 and we have around 32 members. Last weekend we had 22 layouts and five vendors which was terrific.”

The Warrnambool Model Railway Club meets each Tuesday from 6pm at its clubrooms on Merrivale Drive.

Anyone interested in becoming a member or finding out more information can contact Luke on 0427 345 594.
