The program, which offers a range of activities throughout May and June, is a kitchen/garden themed wellbeing program featuring hands-on workshops in gardening, cooking, self-care and wellbeing.

Participants can enjoy chair yoga with Michelle Brooks from 10am-11am on Thursday, May 14.

The following week, Thursday, May 21, will be a ‘cooking up a storm’ session from 10am-noon.

Participants will have the opportunity to chop, chat, cook and take home some home-made goodies.

On Thursday, May 28 a two-hour jewellery making workshop (using items from our coastline) can be enjoyed from 10am and on Thursday, June 4 a ‘garden chat relax reset’ session will be held.

Carers are also urged to keep Thursday, June 25 free on their calendars for what is anticipated to be a very special pamper party from 12 noon – with loads of celebrations, giveaways and more.

All workshops are free of charge for unpaid carers and will be held at West Warrnambool Neighbourhood House in Pecten Avenue Park.
