Speedway returns next weekend
THE on-track action will return to Premier Speedway next week.

The opening round on Saturday, October 31 will see a massive night of racing, with the first round of the SRA Sprintcar series along with the Wingless Sprints back on track.
Visitors to the Allansford track will notice some changes from last season, with volunteers working hard in recent months to complete an upgrade of the pit area as well as other works both on and off the track.
Last weekend’s season launch on the Civic Green was well attended, with race enthusiasts from near and far enjoying the opportunity to see some cars up close and speak with local drivers.
The 2026/27 Premier Speedway race calendar is again jam-packed, with three race meetings before Christmas and nine after – plus the three-day Flying Horse Grand Annual Sprintcar Classic.
