Strong results on the greens
A STABLEFORD event at the East Framlingham Golf Club attracted a strong field on December 20.
The A grade winner was Peter Harlock on 38 points, followed by Murray Smith 37, Brett Willsher 37, Anthony Kenna 3 and Kevin Bourke 33.
B grade was won by Tony Grundy on 37 points.
He was followed by Brad White on 37, Glenn Tracey 37, Anthony Eccles 35 and Jim Lewis 35.
Nearest the pins: 3rd and 7th Brett Willsher, 6th Murray Drake and 9th Glenn Tracey.
The social winner was Gerard Kenna.
The twilight series continued on December 17 with Tony Kenna winning the men’s scratch on 38 and David McLaren taking out the handicap event on 46-15.5-30.5.
Z. Bowe won the men’s non handicap scratch on 42 while the non-handicap went to J. Woodhouse 38-13.5-34.5.
The ladies’ scratch was won by Amie Poyton on 37 and Ange Morfett won the ladies’ handicap on 55.
In the juniors, Jon Kelly won scratch and H. Ott the handicap on 81-31-50.
The longest drives went to James McLeod and Ange Morfett.
