Strong round from the Rangers
THE Warrnambool Rangers had a strong round six last weekend.

While the senior men’s Blue side and the women both had a bye, the senior men’s Teal team celebrated a 2-1 win over the Wolves.
In tough conditions at Harris Street, Ngor Padiet was named Player of the Match.
He was well supported by team-mates Scott Twycross, Iwandile Ndolova and Dean Campbell who also played key roles in the team’s performance.
In the under 17 competition, the Rangers defeated the Wolves 2-0, with goal keeper AJ making some great saves to keep the slate clean.
Under 14 Blue defeated Hamilton 6-0, with Louie Welsh scoring a hattrick and Jonah Sabo having a strong game as keeper.
Max Cashmore also performed well, named Player of the Match.
Under 14 Teal defeated Port Fairy 12-0 with Declan Membery kicking an incredible four goals for the day.
Hugh Faris kept a clean sheet and Georgie Milroy displayed incredible skills, playing in several positions and was a key player for the side.
Under 13 Blue lost to Port Fairy 3-1 but Amelia Stutchbury made some impressive saves for the Rangers against a strong opposition.
Under 13 Teal defeated the Wolves 7-3.
Charlotte Newberry, Frankie Sepi and Ivy McNaughton all played great games for the Rangers.
Under 12 Blue lost to Hamilton 3-4, with Harrison Newbury named Player of the Match.
Under 12 Teal celebrated a 9-0 win over Port Fairy, with Joe Tinkler named Player of the Match.
Both the under 10 and under 8 teams had strong performances last weekend.
Henry and Mason were standouts for the under 8s while Emilio Haig and Harry Couzens were among the best for under 10 Teal and Riley Kerr for under 10 Blue.
