Success for Rangers

WARRNAMBOOL Rangers celebrated wins in both semi-finals played in last weekend’s South West Cup.

Division one defeated Warrnambool Wolves 2-nil on Friday night and division two defeated Hamilton 3-1 on Sunday.

The Friday night fixture was a tense affair in the Warrnambool derby.

Ryan Bail scored both goals for the boys in blue, one on the stroke of half-time and the other bearing the final whistle.

Reuben Macchia, Ryan Bail and Ngor Padiet were the best players on the day.

Division two managed three goals past Hamilton, but also conceded a solitary goal.

Liam Gurry, Elijah Macchia and Blake Passlow were the goal scorers in the win, and also best players on the day.
