The show goes on

THE skies may have opened but not even heavy rain could dampen the spirits of local musicians who gathered at Lake Pertobe last weekend.

As the old saying goes, ‘the show must go on,’ and that’s exactly what members of the Warrnambool City Band and Camperdown’s Lakes and Craters Band continued to do on Saturday morning.

A small but enthusiastic crowd braved the conditions to listen to an array of beautiful music, while umbrellas provided shelter for the band’s conductors.

The special concert was part of an array of events organised for the Easter long weekend across the district.
