Three person ambrose
GOLFERS enjoyed the Fernlea Park Excavation three-person ambrose at the East Framlingham Golf Club last Sunday.
The winners on the day were Ayden Bosse, Josh McDonald and Neil McDonald with a nett score of 58.
In second place, with a score of 59, were Alex Kenna, Caleb Kavanagh and Max Kavanagh.
They were followed in third place by Luke Tebble, Brad Lucas and George Beasley on 60 nett.
Nearest the pins: 1st, 6th and 7th Luke Tebble, 2nd Will McCosh, 3rd Ben Nevill, 5th Shaun Giblin, 8th Henry Kenna and 9th Alex Kenna.
Sixteen teams from various clubs contested the ladies’ four-person Texas Ambrose winter tournament on Tuesday.
The winners on 58.8 nett were Janine Gavin, Helen Gleeson, Carmel Noonan and Jane Thompson.
The runners-up on 62.75 nett were Lyn Cook, Cheryl Carroll, Maria O’Rourke and Carmel Ryan.
The longest drives went to Rachel Howard (A grade), Anne McCosh (B grade) and Helen Gleeson (C grade).
Nearest the pin on the 8th hole was Louise Uzkuraitis.
