Top sides to meet this weekend
THIS season’s big movers, Terang Mortlake, has enjoyed an unbeaten start to the 2026 season, with its senior footballers holding top spot on the Hampden League ladder.

The Bloods remain undefeated after six rounds, as do the North Warrnambool Eagles who are sitting second by percentage.
The Bloods and Eagles will clash for the first time this season when they meet at Mortlake’s DC Farran Oval tomorrow in what will no doubt be one of the highlight’s of round seven.
The Bloods will be fresh off a 25-point win over the Hamilton Kangaroos while the Eagles celebrated a 77-point win over Port Fairy last weekend.
In the Open netball competition, the Roosters are currently holding top spot on the ladder after six rounds, enjoying an unblemished start to the 2026 season.
They are closely followed just four points behind by Koroit, with Port Fairy in third, Terang Mortlake fourth and Warrnambool rounding out the top five.
Round six last weekend saw victory to Cobden, Koroit, South Warrnambool, North Warrnambool and Terang Mortlake.
