Twilight continues at East Fram

GOLFERS continue to enjoy the twilight series at the East Framlingham course.

Last Wednesday’s round attracted another quality field, with George Beasley finishing on 37 to take the men’s scratch from Eion McLeod 38, Trevor Blackley 39 and Craig Lee 39. 

The men’s handicap saw Trevor Blackley finish ahead of Billy Edis and Brett Worall.

The men’s handicap scratch went to Rhys Raymond on 40, followed by Bailey Kavenagh 44 and Billy Edis 48. 

The non handicap went to Billy Edish 48-13.5-34.5. Joe Crispe finished on 51-16-35 while Darren Hansford was 51-16-35. 

The men’s longest drive went to Rhys Raymond while nearest the pins were won by Eli McLeod on the first and second holes (eagle), George Beasley on the third, Mick Kenna the 4th, Riley Scanlon on the 5th, Tony Kenna on the 6th, Trevor Beachley 7th, Rhys Raymond 8th and Alex White on the 9th. 

The ladies scratch went to Julie Mahney 55 and Cathie West 59. 

The ladies’ handicap went top Cathie West 59-18-41, followed by Julie Mahney 55-11-44. 

Paddy Scanlon won the junior under 16 handicap followed by Darcy Hutchins. 

The scratch went to Leo Beasley on 54, from Ted Kenna 54, Paddy Scanlon 55, Darcy Hutchins 55 and Paddy Scanlon 55.
