Twilight season ends
THE 2025/26 twilight season has come to an end at the East Framlingham Golf Club.
Fred Beasley was the overall winner of the men’s scratch competition with a score of 33, followed by an Oakley.
The men’s handicap went to Ray Eccles on 41-12-29 while the men’s non-handicap scratch was won by Brad Lenehan on 38.
The men’s non handicap was won by Dan Lim on 34 and Barry Suhan 34 while the ladies’ scratch went to Giselle O’Keefe on 40.
Adriana Quattrocchi won the ladies’ handicap with a score of 49-22.5-26.5 and the ladies’ non-handicap scratch went to Debbie Lenehan on 71.
Nicki Georgiou finished on 73-25-48 to win the ladies’ non-handicap while the junior under 14 winners were Lenny Spicer on 33 (scratch) and Jon Kelly on 47-20-27 (handicap).
Last Saturday’s stroke/monthly medal attracted a strong field.
A grade was won by Brendan Kenna on 91-20-71, with John Eccles the runner-up on 91-18-73.
They were followed by Bruce Knee 92-18-74, Brett Willsher 78-4-74 and Greg Kelly 92-16-76.
The winner of B grade was Glenn Tracey on 97-27-70 followed by Neil McDonald 93-21-72, Robert McCann 107-34-73, Henry Waugh 94-21-73 and Harry Trigg 99-26-73.
The social winner was Greg Kelly.
Nearest the pins: 6th Brett Willsher, 7th Gerard Eccles and 9th Riley Kelly.
The monthly medal was won by Glenn Tracey.
This Saturday will be stableford.
