Win for Cashin
LAST Saturday’s stableford digit day attracted a quality field to the East Framlingham Golf Club.
The A grade event was won by David Cashin on 36 points, followed by Jordan Cashin 35, Ayden Bosse 33, Greg Kelly 33 and Gerard Eccles 31.
B grade was won by Ray Eccles on 33 followed by Justin Fedley 30, Bradley White 29, Anthony Eccles 28 and Callum Henriksen 28.
Nearest the pins: super pin 3rd Neil McDonald, 6th Jordan Cashin, 7th Greg Kelly and 9th Leigh Chilton.
The social winner was John Eccles while the digit day winner was Brett Willsher on +19.
Next week will be stableford.
Thirteen ladies played stableford and contested the president/captain’s day earlier this week.
A grade was won by Gwenda Malseed on 31 points, followed by Brenda Richardson 29 on countback from Jo Porter.
B grade was won by Pauline Armstrong on 33, followed by Annie Carroll 29.
Nearest the pins: B grade – Annie Carroll; 3rd and 12th Jenny Mapleson.
The captain’s team won on 183 points, closely followed by the president’s team on 182.
Next week will be stroke/monthly medal.
